Yuva Samvaad-India@2047 Programme at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan.

With the initiative of Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan has been organized “Yuva Samvaad-India@2047” programme at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhawan, Agartala on Friday (13th January, 2023).

Hon’ble Union Minister of Information & Broadcasting and Youth and Sports, Anurag Singh Thakur participated in the “Yuva Samvaad-India@2047” at Agartala. In the presence of many dignitaries the Union Minister has inaugurated Yuva Samvaad-India@2047, programme by lighting the lamp.

 “On the occasion of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, the youth power of the country should join hands in the overall development of India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is counting on the youth power of the country to make 21st century India the seat of world. Youth should participate in the development of the country, not sacrifice the youth of the country should stand shoulder to shoulder against pollution, illiteracy, addiction, hostile activities etc”, said Hon’ble Union Minister of Information & Broadcasting and Youth Affairs & Sports Anurag Singh Thakur .

The Union Minister Anurag Singh Thakur said the Youth 20 Engagement Group under G20 will also organize meetings across the country and through this, Y20 talks will be organixed in all universities, Schools, NYKS, NSS, Scouts & Guides. All the leaders of the world will listen to our youth in September. He also said that in September we will submit a document to 20 best leaders of the world on how our youth will take the country and the world forward.

The Union Minister Anurag Singh Thakur also said “We have to take India forward in every field. Since 2014, in 8 years, the Central Government has built more IITs, IIMs, Medical Colleges, AIIMS in the whole of India than in the last 70 years. He praised the State Sports Minister Sushanta Chowdhury for playing an important role in improving the quality of sports in the state. He said quality sports infrastructure is needed to produce international quality athletes.

The 8 districts of the state, he assured that 15 to 20 indoor stadiums with various types of sports infrastructure will be made. He said that during the tenure of the present Central Government, terrorist activities in the North-East region have reduced by 89 percent and the deaths of civilians due to this have reduced by 90 percent.

Hon’ble MP and Union Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Pratima Bhoumik, Hon’ble Information & Cultural Affairs, Sports, PWD (DWS) minister Sushanta Chowdhury, Director of Youth Affairs and Sports Department Subikash Debbarma, State NSS Officer Dr. Chitrajit Bhowmik, Indian Gymnast Dipa Karmakar and many others remained present in the programme. The Union Minister was felicitated by various sports organizations on the occasion at the end of the program, Union Minister Anurag Singh Thakur interacted with all the attendees and took selfies with the students.
