Mumbai, 26th of February 2024 : Veteran Ghazal singer Pankaj Udhas breathed his last in Mumbai after a prolonged illness on Monday, (26th February, 2024). He was 72 years old.

He was a beacon of Indian music, whose melodies transcended generations. I recall my various interactions with him over the years.
