Agartala, 16th of June, 2024 : With the initiative of Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP), Tripura State chapter Valedictory Ceremony of Northeast Physiotherapy Conference – 2024 has been conducted here in Hotel Sonar Tori, Agartala on Sunday (16th June, 2024). The Valedictory Ceremony of Northeast Physiotherapy Conference – 2024 was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by the Hon’ble Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu and other dignitaries.
Addressing the participants the programme chief guest Hon’ble Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu has said, physiotherapy helps to maintain the patient’s body movement, restore body capacity and physiotherapy for a healthy body. This therapy also helps prevent the body’s heart problems and preventing diabetes. The governor expressed satisfaction with organizing conferences, seminars, workshops at various times to enhance the professionalism of those involved in the physiotherapy profession. The Governor expressed hope that the conference will take a vital role for experts and students associated with physiotherapy.
Five prominent physiotherapy of India were felicitated by Hon’ble Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu. They are, Dr. Sujit Roy, Dr. Sanjiv Jha, Dr. Ruchi Veshney, Dr. Joji M John, Dr. Rishi Raj.
Dr Birbar Debnath delivered the welcome speech on the occasion. Chief Advisor of Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP), Tripura state chapter Dr. Sujit Roy, Dr S. K Jha National President also spoke on the occasion. Dr. Sanjib Kumar Jha ( Central President Of IAP), DR. Ruchi Vershney (PT), National Trsurer Of IAP DR. Birbar Debnath (PT), Organization Chairman of NE Physiocon- 2024, DR. Somya Bhattacharya (PT) org. Secretary, DR. Angshuman Dasgupta (PT) Org. Treasurer, members of Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP), and many others remained present in the programme.
