Agartala, Tripura, 8th of February, 2025 : Tripura’s Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) activist has celebrated the victory of BJP in Delhi Assembly Elections on Saturday (8th February, 2025). On this occasion Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha has come to the victory rally and participated with great zeal.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has won in 48 seats in the 70-member legislative assembly, while the incumbent Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is 22 seats, according to data from the Election Commission of India (EC).
Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, Hon’ble Youth Affairs & Sports, Social Welfare & Social Education, Minister Tinku Roy, Hon’ble Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) and MLA Dipak Majumder, General Secretary Papia Datta and a large number of BJP activists were present in the victory rally.
On the historic victory of the Bharatiya Janata Party in the Delhi Assembly elections, Union Home Minister and Minister of Cooperation Amit Shah congratulated Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and expressed his gratitude to the people of Delhi. He also extended his congratulations to BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva, and all the party karyakartas.
On social media platform X (formerly Twitter), the Union Home Minister wrote, “Dilli ke Dil mein Modi!” The people have demolished the ‘Sheesh Mahal’ of lies, corruption, and deception, making Delhi ‘AAP-da’ free. This defeat of promise-breakers sets a nationwide example. A new era of development and trust begins in Delhi.
Calling BJP’s victory in Delhi a triumph of ‘Modi Ki Guarantee’ and the trust of the people of Delhi in Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision, Shah wrote, “The reign of lies has ended. This is a defeat of arrogance and anarchy. Heartfelt gratitude to Delhi for this massive mandate. Under the leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP is committed to making Delhi the world’s No. 1 capital by fulfilling all promises.”
