TRESP Initiated Staff Training On Livestock Sector Business Plan.

Agartala, Tripura, 24th of March 2025 : Staff Training &Capacity Building becoming the utmost priority of Tripura Rural Economic Growth &Service Delivery Project (TRESP) .As a mandate of last World Bank Mission visit ,the Project Director TRESP,Sri Subhasis Das , emphasised on training of staff on business plan preparation in the livestock sector on immediate basis .The ultimate effort of this ,TRESP in partnership with Animal Resource Development Department (ARDD) initiated a 3 days staff training at swavalamban society complex ,A.D.Nagar on 24th March. A total of 34 block and district level staffs undergoing this training which will be concluded on 26th March .The programme is going on ToT mode ( Trainers Training Programme ) on Business plan .In this 3 days training staff will learn the technics of preparing a business plan for livestock sector producer groups .From TRESP State Project Management Unit (PMU) ,Abdur Rahman Choudhury ,Training Specialist leading the training programme along with IBCB specialist Sonali Laskar .

 The programme jointly inaugurated by the Nodal officer ARDD ,Dr.Jagannath Banik & Dr .Rajib Malakar,Assistant Professor of SIPARD .

 The Training programme designed by the TRESP -PMU in a comprehensive manner so that the staffs can easily explain the key aspects of business plan and can prepare BDP in an effective manner .

 Lecture ,PPT,Excel data input and calculation method ,Self reading material ,Case studies and group discussion on piggery business plan and goatery business plan are being followed as training methodology under guidance of Training Specialist & IBCB specialist .

Field visit also scheduled for this training ,all the participants will visit Belbari RD Block and on spot prepare 4 nos.Business plans through direct interaction with producers group members .Field visits also will be under guidance of Training specialist & IBCB specialist .

Through this trainig ,PMU supposed to create a resource team for BDP and it  will factually have good impact on expediting field level Business plan preparation exercise of 325 livestock producer groups and the funding to Producer groups can flow in a speedy manner.
