Training Cum Awareness Event On MICMP Organized.

Amarpur, 15th of July, 2024 :  With the initiative of Ampi Agri Subdivision a one day duration training cum awareness programme on MICMP under ATMA scheme has been conducted here in Ampinagar town hall, Amarpur in Gomati Tripura today. On this occasion a large number of local farmers and departmental officials have assembled here in the programme venue and took active participation in this farmer inspiring programme. Under the able guidance & supervision of newly appointed S.A Nibash Debbarma all  essential technical tips to enhance paddy production through advanced procedure and motivational lessons were provided to cultivators by the resource dignitaries. The resource persons have taught the present farmer participants how to produce more paddy through govt. approved method and gain financial assistance from the concerned department of the state government.

As per the report, under the budget, a new scheme called the “Mukhyamantri Integrated Crop Management Programme (MICMP)” is introduced. It aims to cover 1,16,400 hectares of land with an allocation of Rs 10 crore to enhance the production and productivity of ‘Aman’ paddy. Addressing the farmer participants Ampi Agri Subdivision S.A Nibash Debbarma has said to the farmers, “We are here to provide you different kinds of amenities to accelerate production quantity of harvest. We have organized this training and awareness programme to generate genuine motivation & knowledge over MICMP initiative under ATMA scheme. Stay in touch with us and generate advantageous farming method to have better production.” To clarify the implementation process of govt. approved paddy production beneficiaries interacted with the departmental officials and gained genuine knowledge.

On this farmer inspiring programme there were many dignitaries have taken active participation. Krishna dhan Saha, deputy director of agriculture, Gomati district, Debasis Paul, assistant director, Ampi 41 constituency MLA Pathan lal Jamatia, Ampi block BAC chairman Sindhu Chandra Jamatia, Ampi Kishan Morch president Ashim Kalai, Manoj Debbarma, office staff, Rajesh Debbarma and many others  remained present in the programme.
