Amarpur, 1st of September 2024 : With the initiative of Tipra Engineers’ Society of Tripura relief items have been provided to flood affected victim families in many areas in South district of Tripura. As per the report, engineers have approached to assist those affected families who are in need of various articles for survival and staying in relief camps in distressed. According to Ritesh Debbarma, TEST member, many basic requirements have been distributed in many relief camps as Manaigrom JB School, Poangbari High School, Amlighat Meru Para, Kanalbari AWC, Kanalbari, Madhubari JB School, Gagan Ch. Para, Uttar Joypur School, Kalirbazar under Sabroom, Chailgaria SB School relief camp under Bagafa RD block and Gardang, Santirbazar.
Sources said, Rice -400 Kgs, Dal- 60 kgs, Salt- 125 kgs, Big candle – 110 pkt, Soap – 220 nos. and Napkin 240 nos. Children dresses were also distributed amidst victim families chidren by Er. Bhagyajoy Reang, SDO/PWD/ of Satchand block. The TEST has come in touch with the worst victim family who has lost 7 members in this furious devastation. The TEST has contributed appreciable performance by accepting all day long tireless toil to assist all these flood victim families. Under the able guidance and supervision of Balani Jamatia, the President of the TEST of South district committee TEST members have implemented philanthropic social service which was highly applauded by all.
Amidst the TEST members there were Balani Jamatia, DGM, Ritesh Debbarma, EE, Debabrata Tripura, AE, Bhagyajoy Reang, AE, Hemanta Tripura, AE, Rajendra Tripura, Afruchi Mog, SM, Bikash Tripura, EE, Bijan Debbarma, EE, Tapas Marak, EE, Ashimohan Jamatia, AE, Susanta Debbarma & a few staffs of PWD & DWS took active participation in this good job.
