A new method of smuggling cannabis is to carry passengers on trains. It is sometimes caught by the railway police. Allegedly, smuggling trade is going on with the indirect support of railway police. It is often observed that there is a discrepancy in the amount of paper with the seized cannabis. Allegedly, such an incident took place in Teliamura railway station premises on Thursday evening. According to eyewitnesses, the local GRP police chased several suspects and seized three bags from them while they were smuggling cannabis towards Agartala on the demu train from Dharmanagar to Agartala on Thursday evening.
After getting information about this incident, Teliamura GRP police informed the reporters that not three but one bag full of cannabis packets was recovered. The information given by the locals says that there were three bags full of cannabis. The remaining two bags have been removed by Teliamura GRP Police? This question is pondering the Teliamura railway station chatter. However, when Teliamura GRP police officer in charge Intu Marak was asked in this regard, the policemen of Teliamura GRP police station were trying not to say anything while looking at the cameras of journalists. However, GRP was shocked by the journalists’ questions and trying to evade the questions.
