TCA : Open Trail For Under-19 Boys Across Tripura.

Agartala, 19th of July, 2024 : The Tripura Cricket Association (TCA) is pleased to announce the successful completion of the Open Trail for Under-19 Boys, held across various locations in Tripura. The trail events took place as follows:

Dharmanagar: July 12, 2024
Belonia: July 15, 2024
Teliamura: July 17, 2024
Sadar: July 19, 2024

The Open Trail was supported by an experienced team of coaches and physiotherapists, ensuring the highest standards of training and medical support for all participants. The support staff included:

1. Mr. Jayanta Debnath – Coach

2. Mr. Subal Chowdhury – Coach

3. Mr. Sandip Banerjee – Coach

4. Mr. Rajesh Modak – Physio (Dharmanagar only)

5. Mr. Deep Sarkar – Physio

6. Mr. Arpan Kar – Physio (Belonia, Teliamura & Sadar only)

All Junior Selectors of TCA were present to evaluate the talent and potential of the young players. Additionally, Mr. Chiranjib Choudhury, Executive Digital & Web Media, was on-site for document verification.

A total of 495 players from various parts of Tripura participated in the Open Trail. The participation breakdown is as follows:

Dharmanagar: 81 players
Belonia: 44 players
Teliamura: 69 players
Sadar: 301 players

The TCA is committed to nurturing young talent and providing them with opportunities to showcase their skills. The successful completion of this open trail marks a significant step towards identifying and grooming the next generation of cricket stars in Tripura.
