Tripura Board of Secondary Education(TBSE) has announced Madhyamik Examination 2021 Results on Saturday afternoon at the board office by Board President Dr. Bhabatosh Saha. The Passing rate this year is 80.62%. This was 69.49 % last year. The Passing rate of ST and SC candidates in Madhyamik is 75.62% and 80.81%. This was 54.94 % and this was 73.35% last year. The Passing rate of in TTAADC schools is 76.64% and this was 58.53% last year. The number of Schools that have passed the 100% examination this year is Nos. 426. This was Nos. 80 last year. No merit list of toppers will be announced this year. This year, the total number of candidates was 46,603 and 94 Madrasa Alim candidates.
All examination was postponed on May 1 due to the Covid-19 situation. This situation in Covid-19 did not improve, the examination was canceled on May 16 on the recommendation of a high-powered committee appointed by the State Government and a public opinion poll conducted by the board to examine the parents of the candidates. The number of participants in this survey was 46,768. of these, 90.06 % were in favor of not taking the examination. Ten-member expert committee was formed on June 21 after the tests were canceled. That committee announced the method of giving marks to the examinees. On the basis of all these recommendations, the board released the results of the secondary and Madrasa Alim examinations of 2021.Those candidates will not be satisfied with this published result, they will be able to take the exam if they want after the situation becomes normal, but those results will be considered final.
