Amarpur, 23rd of August 2024 : To experience the havoc flood disaster TMP activists, MDC Sadagar Kalai, Ampinagar RD block BDO, Ruatfela Darlong, Ampi SDPO Tuhiton Tripura alongwith disaster rescue team have taken appreciable part in rescue operation in different flood affected areas here in Ampinagar and Bam pur areas. As per the report, due to landslides and flood in low areas common people were in water confined in many places; they were screaming for assistance. Ampi, 23 constituency young MDC Sadagar Kalai and Ampi block BDO Ruatfela Darlong in collaboration with rescue team recovered many risky lives with the help of boats who were in great danger in Bam Pur and Nagrai by flood disaster.
MDC Sadagar Kalai and BDO Ruatfela Darlong rushed ahead to save flood victims neglected the danger of their own life at night. Their troublesome endeavour for saving disaster victims has been applauded by all. Foods and other facilities have been provided by MDC & BDO to the homeless families who took shelter in different schools. MDC Sadagar Kalai said, “Until the natural situation is not becoming normal all these families would remain under our inspection and whatever requirements would be needed will be provided to restore their normal life.”
