Agartala, Tripura, 27th of April 2025 : The Central Bureau of Communication, Field Office Kailashahar organize Special Awareness Campaign on Poshan Pakhwada on 27th April 2025 at Kadamtala bazar, Dharmanagar, North Tripura.
The main aim is to combat malnutrition through behaviour changes at individual, family, and community levels, highlighting four key areas, Emphasis on the first 1000 days of human life, Popularization of the Beneficiary Module, Effective management of malnutrition through the CMAM module and Healthy lifestyle to address the Obesity Children.
The purpose of this programme is to spread awareness on Nutrition, Health and wellness among the public. Poshan Pakhwada is not only about awareness campaign to promote healthy eating but also a movement to transform nutrition, one mother, one child, and one meal at a time, by combining traditional knowledge with modern technology to improve nutrition in communities.
M/S Saptarshi Kala Kendra, Karimganj, a Private Registered Troupe (PRT) performed Songs and Dramas highlighted on Poshan, covering Maternal and Infant Nutrition and combating Childhood Obesity and promoting Nutrition.
Shri Boru Nath, Pradhan, Kadamtala, North Tripura, and Shri Sanjit Das, Secretary, Kadamtala Gram Panchayat, attended the program.
The components of the programme are- Cultural programme, Group discussion, Healthy Baby show competition, etc. The competition winners were awarded with prizes. Above 150 people attended the programme.
