Signing of Memorandum of Understanding (Mou) Between National Institute of Technology Agartala (NITA) and Composite Research Group, Durban University of Technology, South Africa (hereinafter “CRG”) agreed to build cooperation by signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to promote academic, research and educational exchange between these institutions. This MoU was signed by the Director of NITADr. H.K. Sharma and Dy. Vice Chancellor (Acting) of CRGP rof. Sibusiso Moyo. The MoU is a form of mutual commitment in complimenting each other’s duties and function in the perspective of cooperation in educational and scientific research, development of exchange of students, graduates, and teaching professors. The research students and faculty members are thrilled to hear the new endeavour from AA&IR section of their beloved institute, NIT Agartala and felt that these type of MOU not only cater the internationalization of brand, NIT Agartala, but also laying the scope of the budding researchers from this institute to compete and collaborate with outer world.
The significant aspect of this MoU that both the sides have agreed on the following aspects: a. To exchange their faculty members for the purpose of study or lecturing in other institution on a reciprocal basis.
b. To invite faculty members for the purpose of lecturing, research or consultation for a specified period of time.
c. To send faculty members / research scholars for the purpose of advanced study of research.
d. To assist the development of mutual educational programs for bachelor and master degrees.
e. To assist the scientific co-operation, expansion and mutual scientific projects in the areas of mutual interest.
