Run Up To Teachers Day

The Border Security Force, Tripura organized the “Run up to Teachers Day” campaign to connect with the children and youth to promote the importance of maintaining national integrity. Students were informed about the recruitment process and encouraged to choose the BSF as a way to serve their country.

A short video was played that highlighted the BSF’s contribution in the 1971 war, protecting the sanctity and ensuring peace and tranquility along the international border. The recruitment process for various levels and its required criteria were also explained to the students.

Senior officers from the respective headquarters visited 108 schools in the Tripura frontier as part of this outreach effort. Mahila Prahari and other BSF employees contributed significantly to the program’s success. War veterans, local celebrities, civil administration, and residents attended the programme.

The program’s goal was to establish a relationship with the students, help them choose a career, inculcate a feeling of nationalism and integrate them into society as a whole. Everyone recognized and appreciated the efforts of the BSF towards the younger generation.
