Retired Home Guard Eye Patient Complaint Against The Doctors Of GB Hospital.

A retired Home Guard got eye treatment at GB Hospital and a complaint against the doctors of GB Hospital. The name of the retired home guard is Gautam Das, the house is in Joynagar area of Ward No. 11 of Teliamura Municipal Council. He complained and said that, last April, he had resorted to the doctor of GB Hospital’s Ophthalmology Department for cataract surgery on his right eye. As advised by the doctors, the retina was cut during the cataract operation of his right eye. Such is the complaint of Gautam Das.

Gautam Das went to Hapania Hospital and sought the help of a female ophthalmologist from outside the state. Now there is no other way but to operate the retina of his right eye. After learning this from the female doctor, Gautam Das broken down was falling. At present Gautam Das is ill at his home. On the other hand, Gautam Das complained that he could not see anything with his right eye at present.

In this regard, he compared the doctors of GB Hospital’s eye department with butchers and said, he demanded compensation for this huge loss. He also said that he will approach the court if necessary. He said that it is not possible to run the family with only Rs 2500 pension ; it is not possible for him to have an eye operation abroad. In this situation, unable to find a way out, he initially appealed to the media for help.
