Prize Giving Ceremony On 3rd Sarad Samman.

Agartala, Tripura, 26th of October, 2024 : With the initiative of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) Ward No. 39, 3rd Sarad Samman has been conducted at Arundhuti Nagar Higher Secondary School Ground, Agartala on Saturday (26th October, 2024). In the presence of many dignitaries Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated the ceremony by lighting the lamp.

Addressing the 3rd Sarad Samman ceremony Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said that the logistics of life can be found in our traditional art, culture and dance. Each ethnic group has its own rain culture. This year’s Sharadotsav was completed smoothly without any untoward incident, peace and harmony in the State. Festival days are celebrated in great even in the state. The active cooperation of all has made it possible to maintain a peaceful environment. The Chief Minister said that one of the priority areas of the state government is law and order and peace in the State. In this regard, the Chief Minister also expressed the strict attitude of the Government towards those who disrupt law and order in the State. The Chief Minister also added that at present Tripura is in a good place in the country in terms of maintaining law and order.

Addressing the ceremony Hon’ble Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) and MLA Dipak Majumder said that the people of the state have enjoyed this Durga Puja Festival throughout the night due to the proper management of the State Government and the establishment of peace and order in the state. Goddess Durga Carnival (Maayer Gaman) is held on Maharani Tulsibati Girls’ Higher Secondary School, remembering the tradition of the State.

Alakk Roy Corporator of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) Ward No. 39  delivered the welcome speech on the occasion. MLA Mina Rani Sarkar also spoke on the occasion. Hon’ble Deputy Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) Manika Das Datta, corporator Abhijit Mallik, social activist Ashim Bhattacharjee and and many other dignitaries were present in the event.

In the event, 27 clubs from the southern part of the city were awarded in 12 categories. The Chief Minister along with the guests handed over the prizes to the officials of the awarding clubs Meritorious personalities were also felicitated in the event. Besides, 10 dance troupes of Agartala city performed dance in the event.
