Preparatory Meeting On ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Abhiyan Chaired By Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha.

Agartala, Tripura, 1st of August, 2024 : ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ Abhiyan will be held in the Statewide from August 13 to August 15, 2024.  To make this expedition programme a success, a preparatory meeting was held today at the Secretariat chaired by Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha. Secretary of Information and Cultural Affairs Department Dr. Pradip Kumar Chakraborty, Chief secretaries, secretaries and other senior officials of various departments were present in the meeting today.

District Magistrates of eight districts of the state also participated in this meeting through video conference. In the meeting, the Chief Minister urged everyone to come forward with more importance to make this year’s ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign a success in the State. Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the nationwide ‘ Har Ghar Tiranga  campaign’ in 2022.

In the preparatory meeting, the Chief Minister suggested to organize programs on the occasion of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign in the places where ‘Amrit Sarovar’ is located in the State. Similarly, he expressed the celebration of ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ programme in the border villages also under the State ‘Amrit Vatika’, ‘75 Border Village Kranti Veero Ke Naam’ programme.

The Chief Minister also added that pictures of various programs organized under the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ programme should be displayed on social media. The Chief Minister also emphasized on the inclusion of public representatives from all levels in this programme. The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of conducting ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ programme everywhere including ADC areas.

Secretary of Information and Cultural Affairs Department Dr. P. K. Chakraborty, detailed the programme and to make the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign a success this year in the state. He informed that ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign started in 2022. This year also this campaign is being organized as per the guidelines of the Union Ministry of Culture. He presented the information about the delivery of national flags to the respective districts by the Department of Information and Culture in the last two years.

The secretary said in the meeting that importance has been given to the statewide campaign to make the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign a success. Initiatives will be taken to promote Chief Minister’s appealing video messages through print, electronic, web, social media and LED screens. Audio visual campaigns will also be carried out through social media and LED screens. Plans have also been taken from the planning department to install banners, stands, hoardings at the offices of the District, Subdivision, block, AMC and other organizations.

The message of this programme is conveyed in the Assembly meetings of all the schools to inculcate the spirit of patriotism among the students. The message and application of this programme will be read out on the scheduled day and date in the office premises. Various clubs, voluntary organizations, social organizations will be involved to make the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign.

Selfie points will be set up at the head quarters of the city governments including District, Subdivisions, Blocks, Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC). In the meeting, the Chief Secretaries and Secretaries of various departments informed about their plans for the successful implementation of the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ programme in the State. To make this programme successful, the district administration also informed their action plan meeting.
