Agartala, Tripura, 22nd of December, 2024 : On the seventh day of the Ek Bharat Shreshth Bharat Camp held at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Hostel, a Plantation Drive was held, where a total of 300 plants were planted, contributing to the mission of a greener and sustainable India.
The event gained momentum with the active participation of esteemed dignitaries, including the Deputy Camp Commandant, EBSB Camp They led by example, engaging in plantation efforts and inspiring the cadets to take ownership of environmental protection.
Additionally, other prominent officials, including ), Junior Commissioned Officers (JCO), Non-Commissioned Officers (NCO), and Girls Cadet Instructors (GCI), Personal Instructors (PI) also participated, further reinforcing the importance of environmental initiatives and promoting a sense of responsibility among the cadets.
This initiative aimed to raise awareness about the importance of environmental conservation and foster a sense of responsibility towards nature among the cadets. Each sapling planted represents a step toward mitigating climate change and ensuring ecological balance.
In the morning the camp began with a serene and energizing yoga session, setting the perfect rhythm for the day. As the soft glow of dawn illuminated the surroundings, cadets immersed themselves in the practice of yoga—a timeless gift of India’s rich cultural heritage.
Through a series of well-coordinated asanas, breathing exercises, and moments of silent meditation, the session fostered inner peace and enhanced physical vitality. It became a symbol of unity, discipline, and mindfulness, strengthening the collective spirit of the cadets.
