Nandini Gupta’s charitable initiative for her Beauty With A Purpose project is ‘Ekta’. The name Ekta is derived from the Sanskrit word meaning ‘togetherness,’ a fitting tribute to the project’s mission of supporting individuals from the differently-abled community.

Nandini has had a deep, personal connection to this cause from a young age, having witnessed the challenges faced by her uncle, who lived with Down Syndrome. His experiences have shaped Nandini’s understanding of the barriers this community encounters, inspiring her to dedicate her efforts to breaking the stigma that surrounds them.

With Ekta, Nandini aims to uplift the differently-abled community by boosting their confidence, promoting inclusion, and creating employment opportunities that empower individuals to become self-sufficient. Throughout the project, she will also focus on raising awareness and fostering a greater understanding of the abilities and potential of those who are differently-abled.
