Agartala, Tripura, 12th of April 2025 : With the jointly initiative of Desun Hospital, Kolkata and Medicaids Pathological Laboratory & X-ray Clinic, Agartala inaugurated Gastroenterology and Cancer Clinic in Agartala on Saturday (12th April, 2025).
The inauguration ceremony, held at the premises of Agartala Press Club, was marked as a significant step towards providing quality diagnostic and treatment services to the people of Tripura.The new clinic aims in the health infrastructure in the area by providing specialized treatment and consultation for cancer and liver diseases. It will provide the best quality services with the support of Desun Hospital’s experience and modern clinical infrastructure.
Dr. Shreya Mallick, Consultant Medical Oncologist, Desun Hospital, delivered address on “Recent Treatment Advances in Breast and Lung Cancer” in which she discussed new technologies cancer treatment and their impact on patients. On the other hand, Dr. Amitabh Datta, Consultant Gastroenterologist, delivered address on “Fatty Liver Disease” in which he highlighted early diagnosis, lifestyle changes and modern treatment modalities.
