Khumulwng GDC Conducted Two Day Long Hindi Workshop.

With the initiative of Government Degree College of Khumulwng a splendid two day long Hindi Workshop programme amidst the college students has been organized here in GDC conference hall. The workshop has been started from 27th and ended on 28th of September 2022. The programme has been inaugu­rated by Dr. Arabindo Mahato. Director, IGNOU, regional centre Agartala.​ As the report, a large number of GDC students and hostellers have taken active part in different segments of the programme which were constituted in Hindi language.

Sources said that targeting to promote Hindi language and motivate the students over the immense sig­nificance of the national language of India the GDC authority has organized this programme. According to the organizing secretary of the programme Maharani Hrangkhawl, miscellaneous literature inspiring competitions in Hindi language have been conducted amidst the student participants as essay competition, recitation of poem, competition over GK knowledge and other events, The winner students have attained prizes along with appreciable certificate from the concerned GDC authority. Among the other distinguished participants there were Khekato Aye, 2nd commanding officer, CRPF 71 battalion, organizing secretary Pradip Debbarma, professor and many others remained present in the programme.
