Khowai, 31st of May, 2024 : Khowai Press Club is happy to get the responsibility of the social work of two teachers. Ajanta Roy, a teacher of Satnala Higher Secondary School, Kanchanpur and Debasish Das, a teacher of Churaibari Higher Secondary, Dharmanagar, have come forward for the supporting and helping academically weaker students and childrens. By saving of their salary, they donated books, pens, notebooks, sports materials and they also provided financial assistance.
They handed over these items to the Press Club in ceremony organized at the Khowai Press Club on Friday (31st May, 2024) afternoon. The two teachers handed over these teaching materials and sports materials to the President of Khowai Press Club Asit Baran Ghosh and Secretary Shubhankar Dey. The press club will now take the initiative to hand over these items to the needy students and children of the subdivision. Teachers Ajanta Roy and Debasish Das have expressed their gratitude on behalf of Khowai Press Club for such a unique social work.
