Amarpur, Tripura, 18th of April 2025 : Due to not having net work service for last two years constantly the villagers of Krishnahow Para under Teliamura subdivision in Khowai district became the worst victim of net work service. Around 250 families living in Sardu Karkari VC do not have any mobile service, not calling nor internet service. Specially local students, youths who need mobile service in daily life have been deprived in every day for last two years.
As per the report, the only BSNL tower installed in Krishnahow Para is not providing mobile service for last two years. Today when a BSNL staff has arrived in that village angry students, youths and villagers detained him for hours. They fingered BSNL authority for not providing mobile service for last two years. When Teliamura police came to know over the incident they have arrived there in Krishnahow Para and interacted with the excited villagers. The BSNL authority has assured the villagers that the authority would take immediate initiative to navigate the service for the villgers. After the assurance from the concerned authority angry Kaipeng people of the locality set free the BSNL staff.
One villager said, “We have only this BSNL tower here in our village which is just showing its existing for last two years without any service. Our students are the worst victim as they are totally deprived to avail online education facility. Due to zero mobile and internet service we are in great danger. We want immediate mobile service initiation in our village.”
