The International Day against Drug abuse and illicit trafficking is a united nations International day against Drugs abuse and the illegal drugs trade. It is observed annually on 26th June, since 1989. On this occasion of above day, a programme has been observed by 124 BN, CRPF, at Salbagan, Agartala on 26th June, 2022 in a befitting manner at 0830 hours. Total 104 personnel of this unit including Officers, jawans have participated in the above function and took pledge by the all under the able of Mukesh Kumar Tyagi, Commandant – 124 BN, CRPF. Mukesh Tyagi has stated that “We should protect the right to health for the most vulnerable people, including children and youths from drug abuse and illicit trafficking.” The battalion soldiers have taken oath to stand unitedly against this great social hindrance to set the youth free from drug addiction.
