Teliamura, Tripura, 9th of September, 2024 : Gold jewellery worth lakhs of rupees and twenty thousand cash were found stolen from a house. The The incident around noon on Monday (9th September, 2024) in Joynagar area under Teliamura police station. In the details of the incident, a resident of Jayanagar area under Teliamura police station took advantage of the solitude of the house of a hotel owner by profession and a group of thieves took cash along with gold ornaments.
Shankar Das, the owner of the house, leaves his house in the morning and comes home in the evening due to hotel business in Teliamura Bazar. It goes like this every day. He came home on Monday afternoon and found that gold ornaments worth lakhs of rupees and thousands of rupees were stolen. The locals rushed to house on hearing. Afterwards public informed the Teliamura police station over this occurrence. On the other hand, there is a lot of panic in the area due to day thefts in crowded areas.
