Demolition Of Shops Along National Highway 8 Sabroom Bazar.

Sabroom , Tripura, 16th of November, 2024 : The demolition of illegal shops on the National Highway no. 8 in Sabroom Bazar on Friday (15th November, 2024) night. Traders are angry over the demolition of temporary shops in front of shops on both sides of National Highway no.8 in Sabroom Bazar by the Sabroom sub-divisional administration. Yesterday at 1 o’clock in the night, operation was carried out by the administration of Sabroom sub-division.

The traders complained that the Sub-Divisional Magistrate & Collector demolished the temporary houses in front of the shops without giving any written notice. It is known that all the shops on both sides of the No. 8 National Highway in the Sabroom market have constructed temporary houses in front of the shops for the convenience of the traders. It is said that the beauty of the market and the traffic jam on the National Highway are created from the side of the Sub-Divisional Magistrate.

In the last 5/7 days ago there was a campaign by the Sabroom administration to demolish or remove the temporary houses on both sides of the National Highway. Many shops move their temporary houses. The houses of those who did not move were demolished by the administration last night. Traders were angry because the temporary houses of some shops were demolished outside the national highway.
