A high-level meet held on Sunday could not arrive at a decision on the pending Class 12 board exams. Union Education Ministry said the states have been asked to send their feedback by May 25 and the Centre will examine the suggestions received from the various State Governments.
The virtual consultation meeting was chaired by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and attended by Union Education Minister Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank. Union Women and Child Development Minister Smriti Irani and Minister for Information and Broadcasting Prakash Javadekar also participated, along with State Education Minister.
