Today (29th August, 2022), the National Congress meeting at Paharpur Bazar on the initiative of Ampi Block Congress could not take place due to the obstruction of the miscreants and non-cooperation of the police despite having the necessary permission. The Congress leaders repeatedly called and requested the police for cooperation, but the police reached the spot after the stipulated time. After this incident the Congress leaders were forced to leave the place. After that, Congress leaders protested in front of Amarpur police station. Udaipur District Congress President Soumitra Biswas condemned the non-cooperation of the police in this incident. Soumitra Biswas said that due to the wisdom of the local Congress leaders, major accidents were avoided. He demanded proactivity and sensitivity of Amarpur police ahead. The Congress leaders have highly condemned like this indifference attitude of Amarpur police.
