Colorplast Refutes The Baseless Allegations On “Data Security Breach” In DL/RC Cards Supplied In Telangana.

We strongly condemn the false and misleading claims made in the recent media reports regarding the alleged use of “Chinese chips” & “Data security breach”. The allegations are absolutely baseless and appear to be part of a malicious campaign to defame the company and damage its reputation.

In reference to the media articles published trying to defame us, it is pertinent to note the below Facts:

Colorplast had no role to play in the data of customers as the contract was for supply of blank cards. Data printing/personalization was not part of the awarded scope of work therefore there is no possibility on “data breach” from Colorplast.
In furtherance to the above, the software used to print/personalise the data is NIC software which is independently managed by Transport Department.
None of the cards supplied with reference to this case have ever been returned on the basis of poor quality and even The NIC (National Informatics Centre) testing report has found no credibility to the alleged use of “Chinese chips” in the cards supplied by Colorplast.
Given the above facts, we are confident that products supplied by Colorplast are of the highest standards. These baseless claims hold no merit and are simply part of a smear campaign aimed to dethrone our legacy & leadership position in the industry today.
