Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha Paid Floral Tributes To Freedom Fighter Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose On His Birth Anniversary.

Agartala, 23rd of January 2024 : With the initiative Netaji Subhas Vidyaniketan H.S. School celebrated Birth Anniversary of freedom fighter Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose at Netaji Subhas Vidyaniketan H.S. School premises, Agartala on Tuesday (23rd January 2024). Every year, the school celebrates the birthday of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on 23rd January. Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha paid floral tributes to Freedom Fighter Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose on his Birth Anniversary.

“Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s patriotism inspires us even today. Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’s contribution to the freedom struggle of the country will be remembered forever. His bravery and courage were unparalleled”, Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said at the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s Birth Anniversary ceremony.

The Chief Minister said that only after Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister, due respect has been shown to the freedom fighters and brave soldiers of the country. The Chief Minister said, today is a day of glory for us Commemorating Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s contribution to the country’s freedom movement, Prime Minister Narendra Modi declared Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s birthday on January 23 in 2021 as ‘Parakram Diwas’. Since then 23rd January is celebrated as ‘Parakram Diwas’ across the country. Chief Minister said that Netaji Subhash Vidyaniketan has a reputation. This reputation of Vidyaniketan is spread not only in the state but also other countries. The success of students of Vidyaniketan in education, sports and culture has been making the people of the state proud. This Vidyaniketan was established on March 3, 1948. This procession of school students started in 1951 on the occasion of Netaji’s birth anniversary.

A colorful procession was organized by Netaji Subhas Vidyaniketan H.S. School on the occasion Indian freedom fighter Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. The students take part in a colourful procession that marches passes through the main streets of Agartala. The rally has started from the Netaji Subhas Vidyaniketan H.S. School and ended at school premises.

Hon’ble Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) Dipak Majumder, Director of Information and Culture Department Bimbisar Bhattacharjee, Corporator Ratna Datta,  Social activist Rajib Bhattacharjee, Teachers, students from different schools and colleges and many other dignitaries were present at the celebration ceremony.
