Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha Inaugurates Newly Constructed Building Of Academic And Hostel Building Of NEINS.

Agartala, Tripura, 31st of January, 2025 : In the presence of many distinguished dignitaries Hon’ble Chief Minister Prof Dr. Manik Saha has inaugurated the newly constructed building of North East Institute of Nursing science (NEINS) here in Amtali, Agartala, Tripura on Friday (31st January, 2025).

Addressing the inaugural Ceremony of North East Institute of Nursing science(NEINS) Hon’ble Chief Minister Prof Dr Manik Saha said that due to the development of the state’s health system, it is presently possible to perform various surgeries including neurosurgery in the State. In addition, kidney transplant in the state, initiatives have been taken to transplant various organs including liver. As a result, the quality of health services in the State will further increase in the future. The Chief Minister said that the State Government is committed to developing the health infrastructure of the State. Various health educational institutions including two medical colleges, a dental college, a nursing college have been established in the State.

“Nurses play an important role in providing health services in any health institution. The reputation of that health institution depends on the nursing staff. Therefore, nurses should give special importance to establishing a good relationship with patients and their families. Many children of the State are working with good reputation in the field of nursing services in the country and abroad. The Chief Minister expressed the opinion that in the future, a good number of nurses will be produced from this institute and will be associated with the health system of the State.” Chief Minister also added.

 Amidst the other distinguished dignitaries there were Padma Shri Awardee spiritual leader Chitta Ranjan Debbarma,  Hon’ble Mayor of Agartala Municipal Corporation (AMC) and MLA Dipak Majumder, MLA Mina Rani Sarkar, Chairman of North East Institute of Nursing science (NEINS) Dr. Partha Pratim Saha, Tripura Central University Registrar Dipak Sharma and many other dignitaries were present in the inauguration ceremony.
