Agartala, Tripura, 22nd of April 2025 : With the initiative of School Education Department State Government of Tripura inauguration ceremony, organized at Amtali H.S School premises, Agartala, Tripura on Tuesday (22nd April, 2025). In the presence of many distinguished dignitaries Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha inaugurated the newly constructed Amtali H.S School building by lighting the lamp.
Today, the Chief Minister virtually inaugurated the newly constructed school building of Henry Derozio Academy, Gandhigram H. S School, Taltala H. S School, Indranagar High School & Nandan nagar H. S School.
Addressing at the inauguration ceremony Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said tha progress of any nation is not possible without education. Therefore, the State Government has taken necessary initiatives to educate and develop students with quality education. With the efforts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the National Education Policy 2020 has been launched in the country with the aim of providing quality and modern timely education to the next generation. The policy guidelines of the National Education Policy are being implemented properly in the state too. For this purpose, NIPUN Tripura is being implemented in line with the NIPUN Mission of the Government of India in the field of pre-primary education.
The Chief Minister said that in the fiscal year 2024-25, TLM (Teaching Learning Material) parks have been set up in 378 schools at a cost of Rs 18.90 crore. the state government is working with great importance to expand higher education. Dhamma Dipa International Buddhist University (DDIBU), Aryabhatta Knowledge University, Techno India University, Law University, Forensic University and Triple IT have been started in the state. In the budget for the financial year 2025-26, there is a provision to start coaching centers on science and English subjects in each subdivision. In these coaching centers, 100 students studying in class XI and XII of each subdivision will be able to take coaching.
Amidst the distinguished dignitaries participants there were Hon’ble Deputy Speaker of Tripura Legislative Assembly Ram Prasad Paul, Raval Hamendra Kumar, IAS, Special Secretary, Education (School) Department, School Education Department Director Nripendra Chandra Sharma and many other dignitaries were present in the inauguration ceremony.
