Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha Inaugurates 50 Bedded Field Hospital And OT Complex Of Amarpur Sub Divisional Hospital.

Amarpur, 9th of February 2024 : Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha has inaugurated 50 bedded field hospital and OT Complex of Amarpur Sub Divisional Hospital, Amarpur under Gomati district on Friday (9th February, 2024).

“The present Government has made sincere efforts to provide better health services in the state. For this purpose, priority has been given to construction of infrastructure and provision of better health services in various places of the state”, Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said at the inauguration ceremony of 50 bedded field hospital and OT Complex of Amarpur Sub Divisional Hospital. The Chief Minister said initiatives have been taken to develop medical hubs in the state. Investors are increasingly interested in investing in medical services in the State. The Government has also taken various plans to improve the quality of medical services. The quality of service at District, Sub-Division, Primary Health Centers and Social Health Centers is also being improved.

The Chief Minister also added that 4 lakh 75 thousand families who are excluded from Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana will be brought under Chief Minister Jan Arogya Yojana. This decision was taken in a cabinet meeting recently. The proposal to introduce this scheme in the state was accepted in the budget of the current financial year. The state government will spend Rs 59 crore every year on this scheme. The Chief Minister’s Jan Arogya Yojana will be launched in the state from February 15. The present Government is planning and implementing various programs for the overall development of the state. Dental and Nursing Colleges have been started in the state. Moreover, various plans have been taken for the development of communication, education, agriculture and agriculture related sectors and industries.

MLA Ranjit Das, MLA Abhishek Debroy, Chairman of Amarpur Panchayat Samiti Manti Debnath Rudrapaul, Chairman of Amarpur BAS Rabitra Jamatia, Director of Health Department Dr. Supriya Mallik and many other dignitaries were present in the programme.
