During ‘Special Operations’ along the Indo-Bangladesh Border in the State of Tripura, BSF troops are consistently thwarting smuggling attempts and successfully affecting seizures of Narcotics & contraband items. On the intervening night of 29/30 July 2021, vigilant BSF troops successfully seized 195 Nos Yaba Tablets, 160 Bottles of Eskuff Syrup,05 Kgs Ganja &16 Cans of Liquor along with other contraband items having combined value of Rs.9,16,371/- in different operations.
In one such operation during night hours of 29th July2021, BSF troops of Border Outpost Mohanpur, 120 Bn BSF seized 195 Nos Yaba Tablets in general area under Police Station- Sidhai, Sub Division- Mohanpur, District-Tripura West. The seized narcotics are being handed over to Police Station- Sidhai for further course of action.
Besides above, Vigilant BSF troops deployed in other parts of the Tripura Frontier are also regularly carrying out relentless Operations against the trans-border criminals and seizing various contraband items.
