Agarta, Tripura, 7th Nov 2024 : Om 7th November about 0830 hrs , 06 BD nationals including 01 lady and 02 transgenders were apprehended in a joint operation of BSF and GRP Agartala.
In another operation 03 BD nationals including 02 minors were apprehended by BSF troops of BOP Samrupara under PS Kailashahar district Unakoti while they were trying to exfiltrate to Bangladesh. All the three BD nationals are family members and residents of Maulvibazar, Bangladesh.
Preliminary inquiry is going on.
BSF is maintaining a high level of alertness in the international border to prevent infiltration.
