BSF Allegedly Harassed Of Minority Woman.

Khowai, Tripura, 1st of October, 2024 : The people of the border villages have a good relationship with the Border Security Force (BSF), in some cases the bitterness between the local villagers and the BSF relationship the border villages. A woman from a minority family in the area filed a complaint of molestation against the BSF on Tuesday evening in view of the incident that took place in North Durganagar under Khowai District on Monday night on a minor dispute between a family member and the local BSF. According to the woman, eight to ten BSF jawans entered the house on Monday night due to a small argument between her brother and the local BSF.

It is alleged that after entering the house, BSF molested the woman and severely beat several members of the house. However, the BSF claims that the youth with whom they had an altercation has been identified as a trafficker in North Durganagar area. The minority woman filed a case against the BSF at Khowai Women police station on Tuesday evening regarding the entire incident.
