BJP Supporters Sustained Injuries By Miscreants Attack.

Targeting to generate panic situation and to create despair for the BJP supporters to join the mass rally in Khumulwng miscreants have attacked many rally vehicles in different places of the state today (29th August, 2022). As per the reports, the miscreants launched largescale attacks on tribal and Bengali BJP supporters coming by vehicles to Nadda’s rally at Khumulwng, headquarter of ADC. There was no police or paramilitary force deployed to tackle the incidents of attacks. Official sources said that at least twenty BJP supporters heading for Agartala by a commander jeep from Teliamura and Ambassa came under attacks of TIPRA Motha miscreants at Namanjay para area under Mungiakami block in the Barmura ranges. In the attack at least twelve BJP supporters, mainly Bengalis, sustained injuries selectively inflicted by the ‘Motha’ miscreants. All of them had to be rushed to GBP hospital.

Apart from this, four buses carrying tribal and Bengali supporters of BJP coming by four buses to Nadda’s meeting from south Tripura and Gomati districts came under organized attacks from TIPRA Motha hooligans and at least 19 of them, specially the non-tribals sustained injuries and had to be shifted to hospitals in Bisramganj, BIshalgarh and GBP hospital, Agartala. Apart from this, the BJP supporters coming to the meeting of J.P.Nadda from Amarendranagar and Jampuijala and Gandacherra were similarly attacked by the ‘Motha’ miscreants who tried to reduce the attendance in Nadda’s meeting at Khumulwng. In such attacks at least 80 BJP supporters, mostly non-tribals were injured by the ‘Motha’ miscreants and mafia elements till latest reports came in. Police sources said that details of all the attacks are still awaited though the injuries sustained by at least 80 people is confirmed. The family members of those victims are in great tension.
