Khowai, Tripura, 2nd December, 2024 : With the initiative of Khowai District Education Department Government of Tripura bicycles distribution program has been organized at Khowai Govt Girls’ Class XII School on Monday (2nd December, 2024). Today, the Education Department handed over the bicycles to the ninth grade students of five 12th grade schools in the Khowai through a programme. Sabhadhipati Aparna Sing was present as the chief guest at the programme.
Sabhadhipati Aparna Sing said slogans of the present central government is “ Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao “! From this perspective of the government, free bicycles have been distributed across the state on the same day under the initiative of the Education Department. The state Chief Minister Dr. Manik Sahaji is present at the main state-level program. The free bicycles are being distributed mainly with the aim of further encouraging girls to study.
A total of 105 schools in Khowai district distributed bicycles to facilitate their studies. Speaking on this issue, the Khowai District Education Officer said that like every year, a bicycle distribution programme was organized this year too. Bicycles were distributed among the students of Khowai Government Class XII Girls’ School, Sarat Chandra Class XII School, Lalchhara Girls’ HS School and Khowai English Medium School.
Among others, senior officials of the Education Department of the Government of Tripura and headmasters of other schools were present at the program. A lot of enthusiasm was seen among the students of various schools regarding this free bicycle distribution program.
