Assembly Budget 2025-26, 5th Day : Govt. Plans To Increase Honorarium Of AMC Corporation Corporators & Other Councilors : Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha.

Agartala, Tripura, 27th of March 2025 : The State Government has plans to increase the honorarium of various municipal Councilors in the state, including the Corporators of Agartala Municipal Corporation. This information was given by Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha in response to a question from MLA Dipak Majumder in the Assembly Budget Session 2025-26 on the 5th day at Tripura Legislative Assembly, Agartala, Tripura on Thursday (27th March, 2025). The Chief Minister said that the matter is still under the government’s consideration and a decision is planned to be taken soon. The Chief Minister also added that the Government also has plans to increase the honorarium of the Chairman and vice-Chairman of the municipality.
