Agartala, Tripura, 20th of April 2025 : Again, On specific information regarding Infiltration of three Bangladeshi national (Male-1 and Female-2) were arrested from Agartala Railway Station on Saturday (19th April, 2025) evening. They entered India from Bangladesh illegally. And they came to Agartala Railway Station with the intention of crossing the state by train.
Agartala GRPS, RPF, BSF and the Intelligence Division jointly conducted this operation. Upon initial questioning, the girl said she would go to Bengaluru via Kolkata and the boys would go to Chennai via Kolkata.
A team of officers from GRP Police Station is interrogating them in phases at Agartala GRP Police Station and it is estimated that many more may be arrested in this case, so far the police team estimates that more information may come out of them. A case has been registered at Agartala GRP police station in this regard and they will be sent to the Court yesterday.
According to GRP the names of the arrested person Kamrun Nesa (23) District Dhaka Bangladesh (Bangladeshi broker ), Md. Ismail Hossain (22) District -Chittagong, Bangladesh(Bangladeshi broker ), Mohammad Nur Hossain (25) District -Chittagong, Bangladesh. Chittagong. Officer In-Charge of Agartala GRP Tapas Das gave details about this today.
