Agartala, 12th of May, 2024 : With the initiative of the Agartala Government Nursing College celebrated the International Nurses Day at Government Nursing College campus, Agartala on Sunday (12th May, 2024). The International Nurses Day is celebrated every year on May 12 globally to appreciate the nurses’ efforts. This day is also marked as the anniversary of Florence Nightingale, founder of modern nursing.
In the presence of many dignitaries Dr. Maitri Choudhury, Principal of Agartala Government Nursing College has inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. Alak Saha, Vice Principal Agartala Government Nursing College has concluded the ceremony with vote of thanks.
Agartala Government Nursing College Health Camp also organized to marks the International Nurses Day at Government Nursing College campus, Agartala today. This health camp has been handled by a group of efficient medical teams from different sections of the health department. Sources said, a large number of people have taken participation in the health camp and availed appreciable medical facilities. People appreciated the initiative and thanked the authority for their generous contribution. In today’s campaign programme apart from the Principal, Doctors, Nurses, officials of Agartala Government Nursing College and many others were remained present in the programme.
