Amarpur, Tripura, 11th of February 2025 : With the initiative of Jamatia Hoda of Tripura a one day seminar cum workshop on implementation of Jamatia customary law has been organized here in Guna Pada Memorial Hall in Killa, Udaipur in Gomati Tripura today. On this occasion a large number of Jamatia community people from all over the state and Jamatia social administrators have assembled here in the programme venue and took active participation in the event. In the presence of many distinguished dignitaries CEM Purna Chandra Jamatia, TTAADC, has inaugurated the programme.
As per the report, to preserve, promote and protect the Jamatia community customary law and heritage that obtained from their ancestors; which are most valuable as well as heretical properties to maintain Jamatia society Hoda authority is in great promptness to accelerate their utility for community identity all over the world. Jamatia community customary law and heritage are unique and their preservation is essential for the next generation of Jamatia community. Addressing the gathering Hoda Okra Bipra Kumar Jamatia has said, “Our customary law and heritage are our social identity. We have to establish them to maintain our social identity and prosperity for our community unification. We have to realize the immense significance of our customary law and heretical properties.” To promote the event more attractive the organizer has managed different kinds of Jamatia community cultural presentations in the programme.
Amidst the other distinguished dignitaries there were Kamal Kalai, EM, TTAADC, Data Mohan Jamatia, legal adviser, Jamatia Hoda, Manindra Mohan Jamatia, Hoda Okra, Durpa Sadhan Jamatia, GS, Baba Garia Mission state committee and many others remained present in this programme.
