Khowai, Tripura, 28th of November, 2024 : With the initiative of Khowai District Administration organization a crucial press conference has been organized at the District Magistrate’s Conference Hall today (28th November, 2024). A press conference was organized for the first time in Khowai district on Vidya Fest.
Khowai District Magistrate & Collector Chandni Chandran stated that in a press conference, Vidya Fest is going to be held on November 29, 2024 In Khowai. She said that presently, this Vidya Fest program will involve students from all the “Vidyajyoti Schools” in Khowai district in various cultural competitions.
The Vidya Fest will be inaugurated at the new town hall in Khowai tomorrow at 11 am. The state’s Minister for Science, Technology and Forests, Shri Animesh Debbarma, will be present as the inaugurator. Padma Shri awardee Dipa Karmakar will be present as the chief guest.
The events will be held in Khowai Kalyanpur and Teliamura. On the last day of the event, i.e. December 2nd at 2 pm, the prizes will be distributed among the contestants at the Town Hall, Teliamura. Hon’ble Governor of Tripura Indrasena Reddy Nallu, will be present as the inaugurator and chief guest at the closing ceremony.
The competition will include essay writing, poetry writing, debate discussion and quizzes. Apart from this, the competition will also include solo and group dance, music, painting, yoga, etc. District Magistrate Mrs. Chandni Chandran said. She sought everyone’s cooperation to make these four-day events a success.
In today’s programme apart from Khowai District Magistrate & Collector Chandni Chandran, Additional District Magistrate and Collector of Khowai district, Sumit Kumar Pandey, senior officials and many others remained present in the event.
