Agartala, Tripura, 27th November 2024 : Sh Ravi Gandhi, ADG, BSF (Eastern Command) on three days visit of Tripura visited Sector HQ BSF Gokulnagar, Kamlasagar and Nischintpur border areas alongwith Sh Patel Piyush Purusottam Das, IPS, IG BSF Tripura Frontier and other officers.
During the visit he was briefed by Sh V K Kasana, DIG Gokulnagar regarding ops preparedness. Interacting with troops ,the ADG lauded their efforts in curbing the trans-border crimes and briefed the troops about emerging threats to national security.
The ADG further had a courtesy meeting with Sh J K Sinha, IAS, chief secretary, Govt of Tripura and Sh Amitabh Ranjan, IPS, DGP Tripura and discussed issues pertaining to border security & prevailing situations in neighbouring country.
