A Sand Laden Bolero Seized By Forester.

Khowai, Tripura, 15th of November 2024 :  The Ramchandra Ghat area is being submerged in the river by sand mafias. A lot of sand is being lifted from the Khowai River every day. As a result, the bank of the river is breaking and taking a huge shape. Not only this, the sand traders are adopting dishonest methods in the sand business. With only one vital, three or three vehicles are collecting sand and delivering it to different places in Khowai. This is not unknown to anyone. The officials of Tulasikhar Forest Range, Khowai Forest Range, and Padmabil Forest Range are fully aware of this. Unfortunately a sand laden Bolero car was seized by Forester Kali Debbarma TR01AG -1747 of Khowai Forest Range on TKDK Road in Khowai yesterday afternoon.

Later, when to see the documents of the car, the driver of the car could not show any kind of documents. The driver could not even show the vital paper. Finally, the staff of the Khowai Forest Department took the vehicle to the Khowai Forest Range. It is known that the owner of the car is Bishu Debbarma of Tulashikhar. He has three cars. His two sons drive two cars. He delivers sand with each car. The people of Ramchandra Ghat area have demanded that the minister and the concerned department should take effective steps to prevent the river from collapsing.
