BSF Tripura contributed to countrywide campaign “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav” of Govt of India, which focuses on citizens’ participated, by organized “BSF Half Marathon” an open event for participation of civil public as well as Force personnel with the Motto of “Fit Freedom Run-Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav-2021”.
‘BSF Half Marathon’ flagged off by Susanta Kumar Nath, IPS, Inspector General at Frontier HQ BSF Salbagan Agartala (Main Gate No. 01) On 02nd Oct 2021.The event has terminate at Football Stadium, BSF Campus Salbagan, Agartala.
‘BSF Half Marathon’ 21.075 Kms (13 Miles 192.5 yards), passing through different locations i.e. Hatipara to Litchu Bagan Chowk (Airport Road) to Narayan Chowk to Narsinger Market to Durgabari (T-Junction) to Gandhigram Market to BSF Gate No. 04 and has finish at Football Stadium, BSF Campus Salbagan.
Border Security Force, besides performing primary task of safeguarding the Frontiers of the Country round the clock, is also actively involved in conducting various activities which promotes solidarity & sportsmanship.
