State Level Kaskau Mai Khlungmo Hodaigri Festival 2024 Organized.

Ampi, Tripura, 17th of October 2024.  With the initiative of Kaskau-Rai Parishod 7th State Level Kaskau Mai Khlungmo Hodaigri Festival 2024 has been conducted here in Baithungrai JB School premises in Ekjanchara VC under Ampi Nagar block in Gomati Tripura. On this auspicious occasion many stalls and shops have been installed in the event venue and a large number of Reang community people from all the state have assembled here in the programme. In the presence of many Reang social administrators and dignitaries  41 Ampi constituency MLA Pathanlal Jamatia has inaugurated the festival.

As per the report, to preserve and promote their customary laws, heritage, costume, culture and communal traditional religion faith the Reang community is celebrating this state level festival in every year. Sources said, Reang community traditional culture is very rich. Aiming to more enrich their Reang traditional heritage and identity the Kaskau Rai Parishod, their society ruling unit is conducting this state level festival every year in different locations in the state. The festival was beautified with different kinds of beautiful programme segments. Reang community music, singing, dancing any many others attractive presentations. Addressing the gathering Kripajoy Reang, (Kaskau) said, “We have a unique & rich traditional heritage and culture which is our valuable identity all over the world. It is our precious wealth and we have the responsibility to protect, preserve and promote our heritage.”

Miscellaneous colourful Reang traditional programme presentations have made all spectators glad. Amidst the other distinguished participants there were Sadagar Kalai, Ampi 23 constituency MDC, Tuhiton Tripura, Ampi SDPO, Debaram Reang, Reang Rai, Chakboyha Reang and many others remained present in the programme.
