Union Mos For External Affairs And Textiles Shri Pabitra Margherita Will Be Arriving In Agartala Tomorrow On A Three-Day Visit.

New Delhi/Agartala,Tripura, 15th of October, 2024 : Union Minister of State for External Affairs and Textiles Shri Pabitra Margherita will be arriving in Agartala tomorrow on a three-day visit to the state. After arrival at Agartala the Union Minister will call on Governor Shri Indra Sena Reddy Nallu at Raj Bhavan tomorrow evening. He will also call on Chief Minister Prof (Dr) Manik Saha. Later in the evening, he will go to Khowai to visit several central projects in the district.

In Khowai, Shri Margherita will review the progress of various central schemes and other State Government schemes under the flagship programs in Khowai district. He will also visit ongoing projects in the areas of education, health, Jal Jeevan Mission agriculture infrastructure and skill development etc. in the district. In his visit to Khowai, Shri Margherita will also hold meetings and interaction with women-run Self Help Groups and district officials. Shri Margherita will also visit the Handicraft Cluster Project at Shankhla in Simna and ‘Samarth’ Training Centre under ICDS and Handloom Awareness Programme at Fatikchhara in the afternoon. Later in the evening, he will travel to Udaipur to visit the Mata Tripura Sundari Temple. On the morning of 18th October, he will hold a review meeting with the officials of Ministry of Textiles and Department of Handloom Handicrafts and Silk Industries at the state Secretariat in Agartala. He will also visit Purbasha Emporium and Weavers Service Centre at Agartala in the afternoon. The MoS will leave Agartala for Delhi in the evening on 18^th October.
