Udaipur, Tripura, 20th of September, 2024 : Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha laid the foundation stone for New S. P office building at East bank of Jagannath Dighi, Udaipur, Gomati District on Friday (20th September, 2024).
Addressing the gathering of laying Foundation stone ceremony Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said, Development work can be done better if peace and harmony are maintained. Various types of crimes have reduced due to the rule of law in the State. The current government is determined to establish good governance. The Chief Minister said that the state police has a glorious history of 150 years. Many times in the social system people have to face various kinds of problems. The State Police takes quick steps to solve the problems of common people.
“The criminal activity in the state has increased significantly compared to the previous years. Efforts by the State Police to increase public awareness are continuing. Success is coming. He said young people are getting addicted to drugs. For that, more anti-drug operations should be carried out. Besides, the anti-drug campaign should be continued among the common citizens. He also said that the government is determined to provide protection to women. For which 9 women police stations have been established in 8 districts in the state”, Chief Minister also added.
State Director General of Police Amitabh Ranjan delivered the welcome speech on the occasion. Hon’ble Finance, Planning & Coordination, Information Technology Minister Pranajit Singha Roy, MLA Abhishek Debroy, MLA Pathanlal Jamatia, DGP (Intelligence) Anujag, District Magistrate Tarit Kanti Chakma, Dist. Superintendent of Police Rathiranjan Debnath and many other dignitaries were present in the programme.
