Ampi, Tripura, 26th of August 2024 : With the initiative of TEF of Ampi block committee a philanthropic flood affected victims assistance programme has been conducted here in Ampinagar, Gomati Tripura today. Under the able guidance and supervision of Ampi block TEF committee president Suklamani Kalai many TEF members have visited to 5 flood affected relief camps interior Ampi block and enquired over their advantages and disadvantages in the relief camps. The generous TEF members have interacted with the victims and investigated over their food, shelter and health. The TEF authority has provided all victim families some essential requirements to maintain their families in their present alternative shelters.
In the other hand, Ampi block TMP leaders have also accompanied with the TEF where CEM Purna Chandra Jamatia, EM Kamal Kalai, Ampi 41 constituency MLA Pathanlal Jamatia, Ampi 23 constituency MDC Sadagar Kalai have taken active participation in this generous programme. They have visited 5 flood affected shelter proportional with the TEF unitedly and enquired over their ration and other requirements. They have investigated the hygienic status of the victim families. The TTAADC administrative authorities have interacted with the victim families members and provided them foods and other articles to stay in the relief camps. CEM Purna Chandra Jamatia, EM Kamal Kalai, MLA Pathanlal Jamatia and MDC Sadagar Kalai have jointly visited many other victim families where flood hit and destroyed houses in different villages and assured them to provide govt. amenities shortly.
Amidst the other social activists there were senior social activist Sanjay Jamatia, Deb Sadhan Jamatia and many others remained present in the programme.
